Dahab:the gold
Old dahab

Dahab

A small town located on the southeast coast of the Sinai Peninsula, Dahab is proof that magical places still exist on our planet. Considered one of the most treasured diving destinations in the world, a few meters down underwater, as well as on the shore, you’ll find yourself in a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.

Located 80km from Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab started life as a small fishing village. Bedouins are the unique symbol of the Dahab`s culture, therefore making it the perfect destination to disconnect from the stresses of modern life.
Today, they mix together with the visitors, giving the place an authenticity. This village is truly the “Pearl”of the Gulf of Aquaba.

Scuba diving, windsurfing, snorkelling trips and desert safaris are just some of the exciting activities on offer. Dahab also provides places to relax and read a good book whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings. After all, Dahab, which means ‘Gold’ in Arabic, has not been named by mistake. Check it out for yourself! There is a lot of history, extraordinary landscape and culture that has to be experienced .

Big resorts have been built at either end of Dahab, but in the center, where Deep Blue divers is situated, we are able to enjoy the traditional streets & bazaars from the old town
Even if the amount of people visiting this little piece of paradise increases year after year, we all agree on
one thing, there is something here which will never die: a strong feeling of serenity.
Running north to south along the promenade you can find many restaurants, bars and coffee shop offering a diverse selection of food and drink including fresh fish and traditional Egyptian cuisine for the addicts.

Hidden along the coast of the Red Sea, Dahab is Egypt’s best kept secret. You will be welcomed with open arms, so much so that you will never want to leave, like some of us did, like many of us here.
